    Tech is a kind of "beyond the law". Law's are mostly developed in "hindsight"... after the ill effects of a new technology has already caused the "damage". After we, "we remember damage"... ;)

    I think you're right about that but in addition 'tech' evolves that quickly, any moral/ethical considerations lag far/far behind...

    We haven't even scratched the surface in trying to catch up with the interwebs... hence the seemingly ever advancing technofeudalism
