The connection between "intelligence" and reversing entropy/ creating an 'order' to things (ie- energy) are definitely directly connected. Technofeudalism's AI permits the Lords to intelligently control the masses/ serfs far more easily and makes them exponentially more productive. Fear isn't a very "productive" motivator in the "RICE" scheme of motivation/ motivators, as "slavery" proved historically.
We're no longer a "Disciplinary Society" (Foucault). We're an "Achievement Society" (Deleuze & Guattari/ Byung-Chul Han). Individualism has its' down-sides. It "internalizes" control mechanisms. External Control now comes from PsyOps (aka- The technofeudalists applications of Schizoanalysis through AI)
The Search engine has turned the "free market" into a "controlled/ directed market". This is what makes the techofeudal lords so powerful. Control the algorithm, you control the world.
