The Story of the Flying Wing Nazi Stealth Fighter Bomber (the Messershit 666-2/e)

The Nazi misplaced thete, methinksbelief in German science's power to win the war and secure yet another Evil Empire was of course legendary. Above, a paper model of the experimental Messershit 666, a wing-type stealth bomber with ionic propulsion and projected to do a cool Mach 4.35.

Only 2 prototypes were ever built and one of them crashed beyond repair on its maiden flight (some heads must have rolled, methinks!)

These machines were built very near the end of the Nazis' exploits when shortages of just about everything were crippling the Nazi weapons manufacturing machin e and secret weapons programs.

Legend has it that a worker in the 666 program went up to a teamleiter complaining they'd run out of black paint. 'Oh for Gott's sake Hans, the teamleiter shot back: 'look at the Yanks and their Mustang P-51: does it look like they give a ratz about black paint? Huh?' Hans: 'well, we do have some of that pink paint left, you knooow, from that 'Operazion Tranz'?
